FISHER, Emma Sue Badgett - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Mrs. Emma Sue Fisher, age 58, of Cayuga, mother of Mrs. Betty Walters of Kingman Rt.2, died at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, July 24, at her home. Mrs. Fisher was born Nov 15, 1907 in Burmingham, Ala., the daughter of Edward and Mary Elizabeth Stansburry Badgett. She was married March 22, 1947 to William H. Fisher, who survives. Surviving, in addition to the husband, are: two sons, Lewis Morefield of Cayuga and William E. Fisher, also of Cayuga, three daughters, Mrs. Edna Lindsey of Albequerque, New Mexico, Mrs. Walters of Kingman, and Mrs. Sue Knauer of Cayuga; three sisters, Mrs. Pete Meredith, Mrs. Pearl Morgan and Mrs. Beldie Gardner, all of Knoxville, Tenn., and seven grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2 .m. Tuesday at the Watson Funeral Home in Cayuga. The Rev. Sterling Lacey officiated and burial was in Thomas Cemetery at Newport.
